Inside Products helps you to solve problems on mainframe based networks. We are technical people who write
products for other technical people.
Inside Products offers the following products:
Inside the Stack provides case studies and structured
knowledge integrated with live data from your z/OS system so you can solve
complex performance problems quickly. Inside the Stack provides a complete TCP/IP monitor.
Is your boss asking you how much FTP traffic you have? Is TCP/IP a black box to you?
With Inside the Stack, you can truly view what is going on inside the TCP/IP stack!
For more information, please click on Inside the Stack.
Early Warning System provides proactive monitoring. Do you have certain TCP connections which MUST be up
for business reasons? Have you ever wanted to know if your mainframe-based web applications were running slowly?
The Early Warning System provides a ‘heads-up’ for TCP connections or applications which may be heading for trouble.
That is, they may be currently experiencing performance problems or will soon be experiencing performance problems.
Don't you want to know where pending problems may be BEFORE your customers start calling?
For more information, please click on Early Warning System.
TCP Problem Finder will allow you to see patterns
in TCP, UDP, or ICMP traffic. As serious systems programmers know, many problems in the
stack, network, or devices can be found this way. The TCP Problem Finder
finds errors or inefficiencies in configuration or performance of TCP, UDP, socket applications,
interfaces, network hardware, or routes. For more information, please click on
TCP Problem Finder.
Enterprise Extender Problem Finder will allow you to decode the traces
for traffic flowing over Enterprise Extender. You can find idle RTP pipes, ABR Flow Control,
RTP retransmissions, excessive Locates, Path Switches, and much more. The EE Problem Finder
helps find and errors or inefficiencies in configuration or performance of HPR, RTP, UDP, and IP
for Enterprise Extender connections. For more information, please click on
EE Problem Finder.
TCP Response Time Monitor will allow you to monitor end-to-end, host and
network response time for TCP traffic. Many problems in the TCP stack have only one symptom: poor response time.
Response Time problems can be due to network, stack, application or devices. The TCP Response Time Monitor
helps you to find errors or inefficiencies in configuration or performance of your TCP stack. For more information,
please click on TCP Response Time Monitor.
Availability Checker provides a way to check the availability of routes and devices from the mainframe.
An ICMP Ping will be sent from the mainframe to the devices defined. Availability Checker keeps track of the network response
time (Hourly, Daily, Yearly) and automatically provides Unavailable Resource reports. For more information,
please click on Availability Checker.
2cSNA is an application designed to help z/OS installations that would like to save the costs of legacy network management products such as NetView™ or NetMaster.
The changes in SNA network architectures due to the removal of Front End Processors (FEPs or NCPs), Terminal Cluster Controllers (such as 3172/4) and the ubiquitous presence of an IP infrastructure
have made quite a few functions of SNA network management obsolete. Yet users are still using SNA – there is no doubt about
that. Meanwhile, cost control mandates a thorough examination of all areas in which a redesign might save
significant amounts of money. So, we introduce - 2cSNA©.
