This meeting of the IPv6 Business Information Exchange featured Gary Ratterree, Principal Network Architect from Level 3 Communications.

Abstract:

Level 3 Communications is a large, Tier 1 Internet Service Provider. Gary Ratterree coveredg their recent experience with World IPv6 Day where they converted their website, www.level3.com, to IPv6 dual stack operation. He also presented how IPv6 is implemented on their backbone, the current state of IPv6 peering, as well as information on IPv6 addressing strategies. Finally, Gary offered an overview of future IPv6 to IPv4 conversion strategy at Level 3.
